Readiness-aware AI assistance
Human-AI coordination when drivers must act under time pressure and uncertainty.
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Clemson University, an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering, and director of the Systematic Psychological Research in Transportation (SPRinT) Lab .
My research brings together engineering and the social sciences to understand how people interact with emerging technologies. I study driver cognition and behavior, human-AI interaction, and the implications of automation for transportation and the workforce. My work also examines research methods and data quality in online surveys.
Before joining the faculty, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Clemson on the NSF-funded WEAVE project, preparing the workforce for automated vehicles. I earned my Ph.D. and M.S. at Purdue University and my B.Tech. at IIT Bombay.
